I'm Luiza Bongir, a Brazilian photographer and videomaker, living in Nijmegen, the Netherlands, since November 2021.
 

I moved here because of love. I fell in love with a Dutchman and his land. Love has always guided me in my life. My childhood love for photography led me to study at the School of Fine Arts at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG). I got my Bachelor's Degree in Visual Arts, majoring in Graphic Arts and Photography.

In the last decade, I worked in several segments of photography, documental, weddings, fashion, portraits, lifestyle, and events. Since 2016 I've put together my love of food into a specialty: gastronomic photography. I have worked alongside renowned restaurants, chefs, and local producers in Brazil.
 

Independent of the subject, my goal is to capture the essence of my clients through my photos and videos. Creating natural, minimalist, spontaneous images that show the process of the elements, thus building a narrative. Simplicity is the ultimate form of sophistication.
